The Back Story...

Our story begins with my untraditional Granny, Betty Louise. Granny was a trash-talking mix of grit and wit, who liked nothing more than to call bulls@#%! She spoke her mind and had little regard for social etiquette. Life dealt her a hard hand but she was an overcomer. She wasn't about being likeable and charming as much as she was about being "real" and surviving. Yes, she was a little rough around the edges. But she whole-heartedly loved her family, was fiercely loyal, and didn't back down from anything. She looked adversity in the face more times than is fair and she took it to the mat every single. time. Our family drew strength from her never-give-up attitude. And it's her sass and tenacity that continue to inspire and motivate us to this day. Granny was a little sweet, and a times, she was a little salty. But that combination enabled her to face life head-on and get back up even when things got hard. She's the backbone of our story and the inspiration for why we're here. We hope you enjoy Mother Cluckers. It's clucking awesome food, with a little bit of 'tude.
